SAC Relays and Husker Spring Invitational … Broke the NDSU school record for the first time at the Mt. SAC Relays, throwing 237-4 (72.33m) for the win … Named Summit League Athlete of the Month twice – for April and May/June … Two-time Summit League Athlete of the Week … For the summer season, he won the English Under-23 national title in the javelin and was the runner-up at the British Senior Championships … USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree.
Prior to NDSU: Transfer from the University of New Orleans ... Comes to NDSU with three seasons of outdoor eligibility remaining ... Competed for New Orleans as a freshman in 2013 and advanced to the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds in the javelin with a season-best mark of 231-10 (70.66m) – three feet further than the current NDSU school record in the event held by USA javelin champion Riley Dolezal ... Finished the 2013 season ranked 19th in Division I in the javelin before redshirting the 2014 campaign.
