Outdoor (Senior): Earned first-team All-America honors in the javelin for the second time in his career, placing 5th at the NCAA Championships ... Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the javelin for the third straight year … Ranked 2nd in the NCAA entering the national meet with his school-record throw of 254-2 (77.47m) to win the Stanford Invitational … 11 throws of 75+ meters this season, the most by any collegian … Won his third consecutive Summit League title in the javelin … Took first place in the javelin at the Baldy Castillo Invitational (Mar. 18), Stanford Invitational (Apr. 1) and Husker Spring Invite (Apr. 8) … Topped 73 meters in every meet he competed in … CoSIDA Academic All-America honoree … Summit League Academic All-League team ... USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree.

2015-16 SEASON
 
Indoor (Junior): Did not compete.
Outdoor (Junior): Named the Summit League Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year … Second-team NCAA All-American in the javelin, finishing 12th at the NCAA Championships … Won his second consecutive Summit League title in the javelin … Claimed the British national title in the javelin on June 25 in Birmingham, England … Ranked 8th in NCAA Division I in the javelin for the year … Extended his NDSU school record to 248-8 (75.79m) at the Husker Spring Invite on Apr. 9 … Topped 70 meters in the javelin at 5 out of 7 collegiate meets on the season … Winning throw of 244-1 (74.40m) at the British Championships was the second-best of his career, behind only his school-record toss in April ... USTFCCCA All-Academic Honoree.

2014-15 SEASON
 
Indoor (Sophomore): Did not compete.
Outdoor (Sophomore): First-team All-American in the javelin, finishing 7th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a school-record mark of 237-8 (72.44m) … Summit League champion in the javelin … Also won javelin titles at the Mt. SAC Relays and Husker Spring Invitational … Broke the NDSU school record for the first time at the Mt. SAC Relays, throwing 237-4 (72.33m) for the win … Named Summit League Athlete of the Month twice – for April and May/June … Two-time Summit League Athlete of the Week … For the summer season, he won the English Under-23 national title in the javelin and was the runner-up at the British Senior Championships … USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree.
 
Prior to NDSU:  Transfer from the University of New Orleans ... Comes to NDSU with three seasons of outdoor eligibility remaining ... Competed for New Orleans as a freshman in 2013 and advanced to the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds in the javelin with a season-best mark of 231-10 (70.66m) – three feet further than the current NDSU school record in the event held by USA javelin champion Riley Dolezal ...  Finished the 2013 season ranked 19th in Division I in the javelin before redshirting the 2014 campaign.
 
Junior Career: Prior to attending New Orleans, Mortimore was ranked No. 24 on the IAAF world juniors list in the javelin and represented Great Britain at the 2012 World Junior Track & Field Championships in Barcelona, Spain ... Owns English national javelin titles in the under-15, under-17 and under-20 age divisions.
