Indoor (Freshman): Did not compete.
Outdoor (Freshman): Placed 8th in the javelin at the Summit League Championships … Owned the league’s 3rd-best javelin mark for the season … Season-best javelin throw of 193-6 (58.98m) at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate on Apr. 19 … Four meets over 58 meters in the javelin.

High School: Ranked 3rd among all U.S. high schoolers in the javelin in 2017, throwing 211-1 in mid-April ... Surpassed the 200-foot barrier in three additional meets as a senior, including at the Washington 4A State Championships in May, where he took the state title with a throw of 207-3 ... Standout running back and linebacker in football for Battle Ground HS ... All-conference wrestler at 195 pounds ... Did not compete in track & field or throw javelin until his junior year of high school in 2016, yet he won district, regional and state titles in the event as a senior.

Personal: Son of Ken and Deena Stradley ... Has two older sisters, Ashlyn and Witney, and one younger sister, Morgan ... Father, Ken, played football for Central Washington University ... Majoring in exercise science.
