2004-05 Season

Outdoor Track & Field (Junior): Placed sixth at the Division I independent championships with a toss of 177-7... Set a personal best of 182-8 in a fifth-place finish at the Howard Wood Relays.

2003-04 Season

Outdoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Opened the outdoor season with a third-place javelin throw of 179-7 at the Sioux Falls Invite... Bettered that mark with a first-place 182-3 performance at the NDSU Open... Placed fifth at the North Central Conference meet with a 181-2.

2002-03 Season

Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Finished his rookie year with a toss of 176-8 in the javelin at the NCC outdoor meet good for a third-place result.

High School: Four-year letterwinner for Hankinson (N.D.) High School... Conference winner in the javelin in 2001 and 2002... Also four-year letterwinner in football and basketball... Prep coach was Jason Monilaws.

Personal: Son of Randall and Kathleen Mauch... Has three older brothers, Adam, Joe and Ben... Majoring in agricultural systems management with minors in agricultural business and crop and weed sciences.
