HIGH SCHOOL: Broke five school records while competing at Mankato East High School... Holds a 57.02 career mark in the 400... Member of four different school record relay teams... Four-time all-state performer and letterwinner in track & field... Had fourth-place finishes in the 400 at the state meet during her sophomore and junior years... A sprinter with range, other prep marks include a 12.33 in the 100, a 25.46 in the 200 and a 2:19.40 in the 800... High jumped and tripled jumped on occasion, hitting 5-2 and 34-3... Successful swimmer for several seasons before crossing over to cross country as a senior... Also a four-year member of the school's dance team and a member of the orchestra as a violinist.
